I park under a beautiful oak tree in my driveway. It's great for keeping the cars cool, but the mourning doves roost in it at night, and seemingly only the ones with loose bowels.

I can imagine. I try not to park under trees because of that and sap from certain trees. The heck with the shade.

You must not live in Texas (you're in CO, right?). It's 102 in the shade right now. Texans will park a quarter of a mile from the mall and walk just to park in the shade. It's all about choices.

I can understand that. Yes, I'm in Southern CO, and today has been a cool one........low 70's and light rain this afternoon. It's wonderful.........central air is off right now.
